Even the biggest Rams fan wouldn't have projected these stats for yesterday's game:

Tutu Atwell: 6-119
Puka Nacua: 10-119
Kyren Williams: 2 rushing TDs

I was surprised too. So many were expecting so little out of the Rams that they had me convinced too. Some nice play from rookies like Steve Avila, Byron Young and Puka Nacua, need to watch a replay of the game after work today.

Only three passes had 10+ air yards. Combination of poor gameplan and the OL getting whipped

That was another frustration from preseason. The OL were battling injuries all preseason and never played together as a unit until yesterday.
Eberflus was content that the joint practice with the Colts and the walk-throughs were sufficient experience/preparation. Think the starters played some ridiculously low amount of snaps in preseason (like less than 20 total).
I would not use the Bears as a measuring stick.

Akers - 29 yards on 22 carries. The TD saved his fantasy worth. (At least for 1 week.)

But his workload surprised me about as much as Swift’s.

I drafted Kyren Williams everywhere I could last year. Then dumped him or traded him for nothing along the way.

Guess they were waiting for Akers to be healthy before our snapping him??

Got hurt 3 snaps in, didn't look like much, maybe hyper extended labia, but x rays came back negative for any major injury
