Well, I was merely lamenting all the hype that goes into preseason by pointing out 2 instances. Speculations galore!

Even before the Bears-Packers game, Fox was making 3-year QB comparisons of Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Fields.

Granted, I know it's only week 1, and there were a tremendous amount of fantasy anomalies yesterday.

Of fer sure, always is.

A plus to that though, taking advantage of the overreaction to those anomalies in week 2

The bigger lie was the Bears offense improving. Glad I have zero stock in any Bears players in my redraft leagues.

I’m hoping it was the Packers DL being dominant. Likely somewhere in the middle

Ha, no, but I did have some pretty heavy investments in Seattle players and Seattle D.

Not taking anything away from the Packers. They were more prepared than the Bears.
But the Bears had the league's worst scoring offense and the league's worst defense last year.
Bears have a ton of ground to gain just to be considered league average.

Kyren Williams: 2 rushing TDs

This game was easily the shocker of the week for me.

I was surprised too. So many were expecting so little out of the Rams that they had me convinced too. Some nice play from rookies like Steve Avila, Byron Young and Puka Nacua, need to watch a replay of the game after work today.

That was another frustration from preseason. The OL were battling injuries all preseason and never played together as a unit until yesterday.
Eberflus was content that the joint practice with the Colts and the walk-throughs were sufficient experience/preparation. Think the starters played some ridiculously low amount of snaps in preseason (like less than 20 total).
I would not use the Bears as a measuring stick.

Yeah, 1.3 ypc is really ugly. Maybe the rookie Zach Evans is active for next week?

I didn’t see any of that game.

But his workload surprised me about as much as Swift’s.

I drafted Kyren Williams everywhere I could last year. Then dumped him or traded him for nothing along the way.

Guess they were waiting for Akers to be healthy before our snapping him??
