Referees call every ticky tack half-ass penalty all night on both teams

The whole game has been sluggish at times thanks to the refs over-officiating it needlessly for no reason.

But, they miss the obvious easy one they should call.

Not a great start for the Zebras

They missed an obvious PI against the Eagles earlier.

It's been getting that way because less practice time and less playing time for starters in preseason games. It's kind of been going that way for the last 4 years...they try to get their timing as fast as they can in the first few games and build on it from there...it is what it is

There was a LONG RAIN DELAYThat probably impacts the timing and readiness a little bit.

Every player does muscle memory rituals probably since junior high school.

These are finely tuned athletes who dont like to deviate even a little bit from routines.

Sometimes, it throws you off..when you get totally warmed up (or even the impact onset of Cortisone shots) and then you have to sit around for a while.

Probably not the reason both teams and the referees look like shit, but at least a mitigating factor.
