On their website? I haven't seen any Windows 7 in Wally World since Windows 8.1 was released. And it was supposed to be pulled last September from all stores and preload PCs per Microsoft.
Walmart has a windows home 7 for $89.00 on thei website. Just selling off inventory I'm sure. Amazon has some for sale also, but for big bucks.

quibids and their ilk are a bit of a ripoff. If you stay up very late at night and catch a close just right you might get a bargain. The rest of the time you are in an endless bid off against others that ends up either with you not winning the item (in which case you are still out the money you bid, it's not like a regular auction) or you spent more trying to outbid the other guy than the item is worth.

Simple math says it has to work out that way for more people than not. They can't sell thousands of items for pennies on the dollar. It's a form of gambling and just like other forms, the house always wins.

Just saw a windows ultimate 7 go for $132.50, was surprised there wasn't a last minute increase, because that's what usually happens. Watching another ultimate 7 buy now for $259 or best offer. Earlier today sent him a offer of $75.00 he countered with $150.00, so I countered that with a $100. He didn't decline or except. Keeping it for insurance I think, I sure he'll get a better offer then $100.....or maybe not, could be his buy now price tag scares bidders away.

I really need to stay away from EBay.

LOL... I feel the same way about Amazon.I don't remember what I paid for Ultimate x64, but I bought an OEM version. I think it was $199 if I remember right. It's been a few years.

I'm always cautious of using sites that price check and send you to really unknown sites for products. Particularly software.

Not bad, but wondering if these are used, new or why the price difference for the same product.

It claims they are sealed. Like WizardHawk posted above, you'll probably have to scrutinize that seller (like Ebay). Make sure they have a telephone number and they answer, physical address - etc.

Watching windows 7 ultimate bids. Saw one go off at $150 with 21 bids, another like five minutes later go for $112 with 8 bids. Exact same product, same condition. I think once someone starts bidding they stick with that item even though there are better deals.

I've used it but I'm typically looking for a buy it now option with free shipping. Bidding can be a pain but really there is no point in making an offer until there is 15 seconds or less otherwise you're just driving up the price.

Well your right about the bidding, it's the last 30 seconds in a lot of cases. I use buy now for a lot things, that are just some what ever I need, but when it comes to electronic items, I like the bidding, it can be addicting. Like buying a old iPad, I would rarely use buy now, because they asked for the sky, most of the time, you can get a much better deal bidding.

Do they still have bid sniping programs?

Not familiar with that. What is it?
It's a bot that can make a bid with 1 second to go and you can set thresholds for the highest amount you're willing to bid. They first got popular about 10 years ago.

Oh that, yes they still use that. Any thing that is a hot item is guaranteed to have numerous bidders using it, including me.

One thing when buying now, be sure to check shipping cost. Some sellers list cheap and make it up in shipping costs.

iPads are actually pretty nice if you get one. I have a 3rd generation iPad and the battery seems to last forever. The only downside is that it takes forever to charge.

That begs the question which recharges faster: a fully drained iPad or a fully drained Prius? :laugh3:

I honestly don't know how long a Prius takes to charge. I think a fully drained iPad takes like 4-5 hours.
