Not that it would ever happen, but Marco Wilson is becoming a shut down corner. He is a stud.

Chase has far and away been the best rookie and it should just be a QB award if he doesn't win it. Period.

There are several OLinemen who deserve a spot over Mills, quite frankly.
Nope, there are zero Olineman who deserve anything.

Other: Justin Fields

Fact: He's #1

I wonder if he is having so many problems adjusting to the NFL because he still has too much Vaseline on his arms to make him shiny.

The big omission here is Pitts BTW. He has a serious chance at it too. The last 2 games he has put up about 250 yards. That is monster numbers for a TE. There is a really good chance he is THE top TE, not just rookies, in receiving this season. Atlanta is finally figuring how to use him.

Unfortunately, Amon-Ra St. Brown average route takes him past the line of scrimmage and Goff does not look that far downfield.

Unless Chase gets hurt I think he has it locked up.

Hands down, Chase...

Worth mentioning:
  • OLB, Jeremiah Owusu, Browns
  • TE, Kyle Pitts could be playing himself into the conversation sooner than later

Eh Wilson isn't gonna happen. I'm all for defensive players getting a HOF or SBOWL MVP recommendation, but Wilson is not that good... he's just doing decent because Arizona's DC and pass rush group know WTF they're doing.

He never get any consideration, obviously. But he does pass the eye test.

How is it 2021 and football fans still don’t understand that the NFL awards both an offensive and defensive Rookie of the Year?

Justin Herbert was ROY last year. As was Chase Young.

Its almost a certainty Pitts ends up with the best rookie season for a TE in NFL history. He could essily go over 1500 yards this year if he stays healthy and Atlanta keeps using him like they have the last 3 games

That said its going to take exactly that kind of year to get in the convo at TE

That one handed grab yesterday was crazy though. Dude catches everytning

I was wondering the same thing with all these comments about defensive players.
Having said that, it's looking like Micah Parsons might be the frontrunner for DROY at the moment.
