But do we kick the tires on Zeke? Dallas just released him.
Noted, but do we take him at 16, or try and trade back into the 1stt round to get him. Because I dont think he gets out of the 1st, and I think the Skins take an OT or CB at 16.I'd rather draft bijuan robinson than ever consider adding zeke. Everytime we pick up their leftovers, it leads to regrets.
Perhaps use Gibson as your 3rd down back/gadget back and use BRob & Zeke as your 1-2 punch? While IM not pushing for him. My thought process
Young QB whom I dont want to see becoming a 40 pass per game player
Yes we have two good backs, Zeke isnt an all star any more, but he is still a solid rotation back.
On the affordable I wouldnt be against it, but Im not going to be hurt if they never even look.
Sure if Zeke would come on a team friendly deal. We did release McKissicPerhaps use Gibson as your 3rd down back/gadget back and use BRob & Zeke as your 1-2 punch?
A chance to play against his former team 2x a year as well. I don't see him signing for anything less than $5m a year with so many RB needy teams.Sure if Zeke would come on a team friendly deal. We did release McKissic
That would be a little rich for us, we have about $8.5M in cap space, but effectively just under $5M in usable cape space.A chance to play against his former team 2x a year as well. I don't see him signing for anything less than $5m a year with so many RB needy teams.
But have restructured no one to my knowledge. Probably a directive with the sale in process. If we draft a C, we likely cut Roullier with Gates also onboard. Logan may become a casualty depending on what EB does at TE in the draft. We could clear $10m up fairly quickly. That would be a little rich for us, we have about $8.5M in cap space, but effectively just under $5M in usable cape space.
While I would not be against kicking the tires, restructuring and cutting people to get him would be a bit much in my opinion. But have restructured no one to my knowledge. My gut tells me RR is focused on a few OL and allows EB to pick his weapon at TE. If that happens with our first 3 picks I can't see Roullier or Thomas sticking around. If he can land a CB, OL & TE with our first 3 picks after trading down a few spots, I would be completely ok with that. While I would not be against kicking the tires, restructuring and cutting people to get him would be a bit much in my opinion.
Would i like to see Dallas Fans irked if we signed him? Sure... but not enough to start making bad money moves.
To sign our draft class it will cost 8.4 milThat would be a little rich for us, we have about $8.5M in cap space, but effectively just under $5M in usable cape space.
This ^^^^^ I could be wrong, but Zeke is no more than a JAG now.Tony Pollard averaged 5.2 yards per carry. Zeke was 3.8 and he is not Jerome Bettis. Hell, Mike Davis averaged 4.2. I don’t think we need Zeke here in any way.
We can’t afford zeke. His price tag will just be too high for a rotational RB, which is what he would be on this team. That would be a little rich for us, we have about $8.5M in cap space, but effectively just under $5M in usable cape space.
That and the Skins have enough @ both WR n RB. Hopefully one of the youngsters or both step up @ TE, What the Skins need are good OL n a 3 down LB.We can’t afford zeke. His price tag will just be too high for a rotational RB, which is what he would be on this team.
