Dirty Players

so we are getting back to dirty player talk in the league so I tried to go through each team and pick out a player that I have seen play dirty either with my team or something blatant that caught NHL attention. It wasnt hard to pick players from every team (except the Hurricanes) I guess it just shows that every team has dirty, every team accepts it and thinks they are holier than the other teams but we all have it, some more than others. Anyone have any player they want to add to the list? Im curious to see whom most of you think is dirty and be honest I named alot of canucks lol

Here's the simple fact to all of this - until the NHL starts giving out serious suspensions for obvious and blatant actions and removes fighting as a regular and accepted component of the game, you will continue to have an excessive number of cheap shots and dirty plays that are allowed to happen and not given consequences.

If a baseball player took a bat to someone's crotch during a game or a basketball player puched a guy in the nuts from behind, there would be outrage and serious consequences. The fact that the NHL finds that kind of behavior "acceptable" and continues to give it either a blind eye or an endorsement is a joke and shows it is a league that talks about player safety, but does not take it as seriously as the other major sports.

I really don't think of Janssen as a dirty player....besides hes been terrorizing the AHL from Albany most of the year. I kinda miss him

Might not make the list since he was down in the AHL when he tore his ACL and was lost for the season.

My guess only, but I don't think he gets seen in a Sabres uniform again.
