That's what makes me believe Larsson is hurt. It's not like Harrold has really earned his spot and is playing great hockey. If that was the case then maybe it's understandable. But not playing the future star of the D, the guy that played well all year and was logging a ton of minutes for us, in our most critical games doesn't make sense, unless he is hurt.

Just heard on WFAN that Kovy wasnt at the morning skate and that he might not play tonight..blessing in disguise?

It's for the best I think...makes everyone realize they have to step their game up and he gets time to heal. If we want to go far we need him at full health. Just stupid it took this long

Hope so..if we win tonight it will be a total team effort and possibly a win that could change a series. I think just having the threat or decoy of Kovy out there helps the team more then it hurts. Him being out just means one less threat for us. But if him being out tonight means he's more likely to be healthy by Game 3 Im for him sitting one out.

Yeah the series won't be won or lost tonight...but if he played and we lost and he has to sit for game 3 then that's bad. We should be ok just have to rely on Parise he wants a big payday then now is the chance

kovi sitting is a really good thing
i think the fans that have a grasp of what really goes on in hockey will be ok with kovi sitting
and the paperweight fans can whine about it all they want

wow preds to sit kostitsyn and radulov due to violation of team rules

and it took us 3/4 games to sit an injured kovi

Even if we are down 0-2 I dont think you seem him for game 3. Either way its a good move by the team

At the very least Larsson should be well rested. If he can come in and play well right off the bat, I expect him to log a lot of minutes and give guys like A-Train and Salvador a must needed break.
