In case you missed it, a few days after the attempted coup a flag at the Alito house was seen to be flying upside down. Photos of it made their way to NY Times who posted them this week. Upon hearing of it, Alito said his wife put it up without his knowledge in response to a neighbor who had a mean yard sign that was "personally insulting".

According to US Flag code, a flag flying upside down should never happen unless there is dire distress or threat to life or property.

A mean yard sign is neither of those things.
