So who will be moved to Iowa when La Stella and Montero come up. I am thinking they may leave La Stella in Iowa until the roster expands and to see if his oblique is okay. And move Matt Sczurr back down to Iowa. With Hammel struggling they may want to keep Clayton Richards on the 25 man roster and carry that extra pitcher. Come September it will be interesting to see who they call up. Maybe C. Edwards, Baez, La Stella. Villanueva and Olt. Neil Ramirez would be the logical choice but I doubt that he will pitch this year again with a abdominal issue.

It was sounding like Ross will get LEster, Montero and Schwarber to split the other 2.

dont know what happened yesterday, two times in the 8th Schwarber couldnt get the ball back to Strop. One was after he bounced yet another slider, but something had him stumped.

I want Schwarber to succeed at Catcher, I just don't see it happening. Maybe on the days Schwarber isn't catching, he'll be in left.

I wouldn't mind seeing Coghlan at 2nd with Russell at short. Coghlan gives us some solid production at the plate, and an all around better player than Castro.

I guess I am just stuck at Coghlan from last year being nothing but a left fielder. All the issues we had in center last year and he never played anywhere but left. It seemed to me that Maddon wanted to create Coghlan into his Zobrist that he wanted back. I agree on the Schwarber catcher deal. We wont be able to get a 25-30 homer catcher, but we have options for a 25-30 homer left fielder, even if its Bryant.

Castro getting a little time at 2nd last night. I'm not sure how much playing time he'll see since Maddon seems to like Coghlan. Plus, I'm guessing La Stella will be up at some point in the near future.

La Stella probably won't be up until rosters expand unless there is an injury. Maddon said that platooning Castro at 2B was the most likely thing to happen for now. Coghlan starts against RHP and Castro against LHP.

White sox definitely have the cubs number. LEts hope it changes. It will be nice to see the south side full to capacity for once though.

I dread when we play the Sox. They always seem to handle us no matter how good or bad the teams are.

Unfortunately, I'm in St Louis now, so I had to buy the MLBTV package, so I have to listen to the Sox feed this series, I can't stand Hawk

well as long as the winning streaks are longer than the losing streaks we should be ok. Still 4 up on the giants for second wild card. Dodgers might or might not get better with Utley rejoining Rollins again, so its more likely the giants will get the division over the wild card.
