Agreed. But it's like what Miller said in the postgame interview last night: these guys are getting better. THey are learning more and more every game about how to play without BA. So they will continue to improve. Had the injury happened at the end of the season, we'd be so fucked. But because it happened essentially halfway through the entire CBB season (reg and post season), then we certainly have the time and ability to patch up the gap enough to still be one of the best. Obviously losing BA hurts, but we can still put together a great team, despite his loss.

It's like using reality vs. fantasy.

It's like an argument where he says "You have a gun, how would you kill me?" And I reply, "Well, I would shoot you." And then he would reply, "Nope, I would just catch the bullet. I win." But then if the situation was reversed, he would say, "Nope, you can't catch my bullets, because they are uncatchable bullets. You're dead, I win."

Then I always realize I'm arguing with a 3 year old, and I should know better.

I didn't even know there were Pac12 games still going on, just checked the score, it is now 79-55 Utes with 3:40 left in the game.

I've been split-screening the UofA baseball game, and the ASU/Utah game. ASU just nullified their win over us with a disastrous trip on the road this weekend. And with games at home against Stan and Cal, and then the last road trip against the Oregon schools, I wouldn't say that they will be a lock for the dance. They are 19-8 right now (8-6), with a RPI at about 40 after today, and a SOS at about 55. If they don't win at least 2 of their last 4, and win a game in the Pac tourney, they might find their fate in the hands of the committee.

Granted, losing to both Utah and Colorado isn't ideal, but as much as it pains me to say it... asu is not in the NIT yet. Colorado has an RPI of 26 and Utah is 92 and the NCAA selection committee considers "bad" losses as those to teams with 100+ RPIs.

With 4 games left, plus the tourney, if they get 3+ more wins they are in.

IMO, Zona is on the inside track for the #1 overall seed. If the committee met today, I think #1 overall would go to Zona. Winning the next four games would almost guarantee it, and would cement a #1 seed.

Not to get too far ahead, it doesn't really matter to me if its overall, a #1 seed would be awesome no matter what... just nice to see them sitting in a great position right now.

UA Athletics just posted some really good highlights from the CU game. Normally they only post vids from homegames, but I guess this trip they had some cameramen travel with the team. It's cool to see the baseline perspectives on some of the plays, gives you a better perspective when you are closer to the action.
