Been thinking about making a home version of the Famous "Juicy Lucy" from(I believe)Minneapolis this weekend here too. Its basically a burger stuffed with Lots of cheese in the middle. How could you go wrong? ...

There's 2 places that claim the burger. One is spelled Jucy, and the other spells it right...Juicy. Both are good, just more options with the latter.

It's just better, trust me. When you bite into the burger it's a little slice of Heaven. The cheese just oozes out as you bite into it.

God Damn it......now I want one.

I've never stuffed one with cheese but after seeing that picture, I can totally see how it is better than putting it on top. God damn that looks great. Going to do a home made one this week.

The heat from the burger keeps the cheese melty longer as opposed to coagulating a bit as it cools when it's on top.

I like to put a little slab of herb butter in the middle of mine.

You should google this place it's quite a story. The food is so good that people line up outside to get in. The building is so old the plumbing is on the outside of the walls because it was built before indoor plumbing. I don't think there is a level foot in the floor. lol

I haven't had the famous Juicy Lucy, but I've had cheap imitations that border on dangerous to eat. I think @JohnRandle mentioned stabbing em with toothpicks orvsomething...huge necessity.

I haven't had the famous burger itself either, but if you have to hold it together with toothpicks, perhaps that burger is JUST a bit overstuffed

I think he meant to let some air escape or something, but I could be wrong? Like i said in the next post, I've watched that shit "pop" or explode upon biting it and fuck a bech up. ( I chuckled inside en sech)
