I always throw in some chopped onions and garlic. I've tried the bacon in the burger, but don't like it cause I like the crunch of the bacon. I have cooked many burgers in bacon fat though.

Did you grind it up while its raw and mix it with the raw hamburger??

That was gonna be my question to you... do you mix in raw bacon or did you cook it first then mix it in with the raw ground beef?

Mix it in raw, especially if you don't like it overly crunchy.

Yes, raw.....process the shit out of it, till ya can basically form a patty out of it if ya wanted....then just mix it in with the raw burger.

I always use Worcestershire sauce. Also, I saute onions and garlic in butter until the onions are caramelized. They make for a fine side addition.

This is what I do. First time my wife seen all the pepper I put on she was like what are you doing? I was like it's one of the "secrets" to making a good burger.

Now when she does the patties, she loads up the pepper as well.

I pretty much keep Worcestershire sauce just for burgers.
