In a bar, draft.

At home, cans (they're recyclable and cheap).

While I'll drink beer in any of the 3 ways listed I prefer bottles as cans can taste like metal sometimes and draft beer is iffy depending on how the establishment you're in cleans the lines and how often. I do think beer in clear and green bottles can taste skunked sometimes I generally go with a bottle preferably brown most of the time. :suds:

whatever way it comes. seriously, no real preference here. they all have benefits and disadvantages.cans - easy to stack in fridge or cooler, most convenient, recyclable. but beer can taste metallic. also usually this is cheap beer so not the highest on flavor.bottle - my homebrew is in bottles, so that's a plus. i can recycle these as well. beer usually tastes better, plus most specialty brews are bottles. only downside is that don't stack so well in fridge or coolertap - tap can be hit and miss. as mentioned can be skunky if places don't clean lines. also can get some of the best beer this way at brew pubs.now if you are just talking cheap beer - i'd take the cans and my coozie any day.

^ Yep...I'll follow that guy wherever the nitrous is AND pay for the first 2 rounds. Cans at home are the easiest to deal with for sure. Sometimes I give them away to those who ask nicely and DON'T ring my doorbell.

Bottles in a Bar followed by draft. Never a can at a bar. For some reason I get the impression that bottled beer in a bar is stronger than what is sold in a super market.

At home....cans because they are much easier to recycle. I do pour the beer in a glass though.

all of the above...I prefer draft...but never go to bars, so I wind up with bottled beer the most....the cans seem to leave a funky taste to the beer...but after about 14 I don`t notice it.

Depends what you're drinking. Guinness or a pale-ale of some sort has to be draft IMO.

If i'm going to have a lager or light beer I prefer bottles.

Draft in bars/restaurants
Bottles followed by cans at home. Cans because they make less noise when being dumped into the recycling truck. :)

Draft in bars unless there isn't something I'd like or if there is a special on bottles. At home, it can be bottles or cans depending on what I was in the mood for at the store.

1. Bottles
2. Cans
3. Draft

I prefer to drink out of receptacles that haven't had thousands of other mouths on them, and I'm not even remotely a germaphobe.

Same here, bottles in bars are seriously overpriced compared to draft (well, they are here, anyway). I think some things (hard cider mainly) tastes different out of cans as compared to bottles, and overall I prefer bottles, but cans are cheap...

Hey, where's the "yes, please" option?

The only time I really have to have a draft is when I want a pint of Guinness. Otherwise, I don't care what receptacle it comes in, cause it's only going to be in there for a couple of minutes.

In a bar, usually a bottle, because I tend to drink out of bottle slower then a mug, which is good, because you don't want a DUI.
At home, cans because bottles are just to bulky to get rid of.

Draft in a bar.

At home, bottles primarily because better beer generally comes in bottles. Craft beer is starting to become available in cans as the beer is less prone to skunking in a can than a bottle.
