The FSU loss was bad WRT the blown lead, but not really that bad overall. BSU was a much better team last year, and FSU was a below-average ACC team.

The Miami loss wasn’t bad at all (other than the game itself looking like Roseanne naked on s bed of baked beans). Duke lost badly, but they lost to #2 in a stadium in which Bama almost never loses.

I would rate the ACC’s first weekend substantially better than the SEC’s and about the same as the PAC’s. The B12 will play more marquee games next week.

Not what I’m saying. But it’s misleading. Those 6 teams could have have played fcs teams and gone 6-0. Or they could have gone 0-6 and made the acc look like trash.

When comparing overall conference records, the acc is at a major disadvantage in week one.

It’s no secret that the ACC sucks but to be fair and as stated the only OOC losses they suffered were to Alabama, Florida, and Boise in a game that Florida State was winning by 18. I watched the Miami game and in my opinion they outplayed the Gators. They just came up a little short.
