and you woulda laughed your ass off...spent the whole summer talking about over paying.
Shit, if they paid him, you'd have a field day tonight with the injury

you remain the king of suck with your every post

No doubt I would have laughed at the Cowboys for paying him so much. But at least the Cowboys would have had their QB locked up. Now he is going to want to leave.

And no I wouldn't be making fun of the Cowboys last night if they had Dak signed to a deal and he got that injury
I absolutely hate injuries that sever and brutal in sports. I hate hate hate seeing that for any player on any team.

Heart-breaking to see. I thankfully missed seeing the injury by luck of being distracted by something else but I saw the aftermath of the injury of him holding part of his leg and the other part holding his foot turned the complete other way.

In a 1 year deal too where he had that low rookie contract. Absolutely terrible to see. Jerry did him dirty. I absolutely hate injuries like that in any sport. Spoils my ability to enjoy the games knowing injuries like that are possible to witness.
actually Jerry offered him $175m for 5 years during the off season with about $100m of it guaranteed but he turned it down.

This was a terrible loss and hopefully, Dalton can pick up the slack.

Because at that point Dak new the price for QBs was about to go up with Mahomes and Watson deals coming in soon.

From the very beginning the whole Dak contract situation was just horribly played by Jerry.

Horrible to watch that, I won't do it again.

As for rehab he should look to Gordon Hayward.
It looked a lot like Hayward's injury. I won't look at that again ether.

Seems like a good guy and he's a good player so hopefully rehab goes well and gets back on the field next year.

This situation will prove out that franchise QB's like Dak shouldn't be afraid of the franchise tag.

Even with this injury, Dak is going to make more money than had he signed the contract that was offered to him 2 years ago.

People shouldn't be crying for Dak. He is a lock to make $37m next year barring a MASSIVE infection. No way the Cowboys don't franchise him. He then will get to play however many games he thinks he can and needs to next year (probably somewhere between 3-8 games is my guess) and then still be up for a massive extension on a free agent market that will be looking at a cap space of $250m per team.

That was incredibly brutal to see. And the stupid asshole (maybe Al Michael's) who prefaced my first viewing with, "we won't show the entire footage due to the graphic nature" or some shit, then proceeded to SHOW THE ENTIRE FOOTAGE, WITH THE GRAPHIC IMAGE can hump a thorny cactus. It was awful. I feel really bad for Prescott, he seems like a good dude. Hope he gets well soon.

I was watching that live and it really upset me for the rest of the night. I hate seeing any player go through that, a guy about to sign a lifetime deal made it even harder. As he kept putting up 400 yard games I laughed at Jerry as the price kept going up. Now I have no idea what his future holds.

uhh... did you SEE Alex's performance yesterday? Dak is a lot younger, so hopefully his return will be a lot better.
