Think about Roger playing in today's QB friendly league or Romo playing with out today's protection. Romo has the records but The Dodger" was better.

That just shows you the generation gap. Like for the Colts, old guys will say Johnny U, mid age guys will say Manning and younger guys will say Luck. Or Starr,Favre and Rodgers in GB , can't go wrong either way

Very true, I think many fans stay true to their first love.

Seahawks: Wilson (Hasselbeck is a VERY close second)
USC: Palmer (If he had the talent that Leinart had around him USC probably would have won more titles than they did.)

Russell Wilson . I was a big fan of Hasselbeck, but I've got RW already distancing himself as the best and my favorite.

Why Staubach?

One big and very valid reason, at least for me, was unless it was a blow-out. Leads late in games against the Cowboys, like 14-17 point leads with 2 or 3 minutes left couldn't be trusted. And his golden boy, good guy persona was the genuine article imo.

Another drawback to Staubach's career, at least imo, was Tom Landry keeping too tight a leash on him, not trusting him enough.

I was gonna say the same thing.... Bradshaw was a warrior out there....

Bradshaw also had arguably the greatest all around talent and all of them fuckers playing at an elite level during the Steelers first two Super Bowls. Franco's and Rocky were a very good/arguably great RB tandem. Swan and Stallworth on the outside and that entire freakin defense was the shit. Even the cats who haven't and likely won't make the Hall like Andy Russell, JT Thomas, and Ernie Holmes were ballers.

During the Steelers 3rd and 4th SB titles though Bradshaw was a freakin stud for real. And he was tough as shit. It was a really small window, but there was a 2 or 3 year period where he was the NFL's best QB and best money player imo. When the Steelers needed a big play, he came through. He wouldn't make it in today's NFL though unless he greatly accelerated his learning curven and taking the next step.

I don't think Bradshaw was ever the NFL's best QB....dude just was pretty much nothing until all that offensive talent showed up.
