On the scale we are talking (best of...), no GREAT movies here, but all are very good.

For me, it is between Basterds and ID4. ID4 was a blast, but as far as quality goes, I just can't bring myself to give it a vote on a "Best of" list.

Robert Downey Jr just the nailed the Tony Stark character and the rest of the movie was just plain entertaining. It doesn't make it a great movie but it deserves to be as popular and well liked as it is.
