back to the issues at hand i feel like they saw they were 3rd and 4th string. which was which i dont think matters.
they also saw a 4 year starter for winning team, 2 conference titles go undrafted.
A “winning team”. Whenever they went out of conference and played a team with a pulse they lost. They were built to win the PAC12 but their style doesn’t work against quality teams from outside the west coast.

Fine, take credit for being good in sports that the rest of the country doesn't have. We know you don't have much going on elsewhere. But don't act surprised when you're mocked by everyone else for calling yourself the Conference of Champions when you suck at all the major sports that the country does play.
I'm pretty sure Oregon St. won a baseball natty last season and I'd bet my left nut nobody has more BB championships than UCLA. Now go pump your players with some more roids.

please tell me which sport you speak of. there is not a single sport that doesnt have teams across the country. if anything there are sports that west coast doesnt have or has very few of that schools back east do. NCAA bowling? Lacrosse both mens and womens. Hockey? Field hockey.

UW didn't have an offense. That defense wins championships bs only works when you have an offense that can actually move the chains. In order to have that you need a legit OC ... something Petersen has never had while at Washington.

a winning team meaning they had a winning record. UW was 39-15 with Browning. thats a winning team.

Trust me, if any team knows defense doesn’t win championships, it’s Michigan State last year.

How much of that is because it is the weakest time in the history of the PAC?

Hey hey hey. It's ostarine that we pump into our water supply, not roids. And UCLA has one championship since 1975. Who cares that they were good at basketball in the 1960's? I wasn't alive then. And I gave Oregon State credit there, doesn't change the fact that the Pac 12 is way behind in championships the last 30 years.

But I'm tired of responding to butthurt West-coasters. The original post was about if we wanted your bad backups. The answer is no, considering I'm not convinced Browning could have been our backup.

perceived weakest time
Over the last four years (the years Browning was QB) what are the top 5 wins for any team in the PAC over a team not in the PAC12?

There's a lot of parity in the PAC atm.
The top of the conference can’t match the top of other conferences. The middle may be better but the 2017-18 bowl season did you no favors in perception.

UCLA has one national title in the last 44 years, come on now.

If you want to include moral victories go ahead.

If you say they cant run with the top of other conferences and lose close game or OT then you suggest that losing by 2 in OT means they werent in the game and cant hang

I've been laughing at this whole thread but you're a fan of a team whos last national title IN FOOTBALL was in 1966. lol

When have I said Michigan State was an elite team?

Your last legit title IN FOOTBALL was 1978.

Like I said, if you want to include moral victories, go right ahead. But last I checked, there is only a Win and a Loss column. No “Close Losses” or “Overtime Loss” that I can see.

If the best games that the PAC12 have played are close losses, it’s not a good look.

Let’s look at the Big10, Final AP ranking used

2018 Ohio State over #13 Washington (PAC12 champ)
2017 Penn State over #16 Washington
2017 Ohio State over #12 USC (PAC12 champ)
2017 Wisconsin over #13 Miami (ACC runner up)
2016 Ohio State over #5 Oklahoma (Big12 champs)
2015 Michigan State over #19 Oregon
2015 Ohio State over #11 Notre Dame

Obviously there Big10 is living off of Ohio State

Now off the top of my head I know in 2015 Stanford over Iowa (Big10 runner up but questionable, Ohio State is probably better) and 2016 USC over Penn State (Big10 Champ)
