True. In a one-game playoff, he will have a far bigger impact than Gay Bar.

You have no way of knowing that. If Gleyber goes 3-5 with a 3 run HR off Sean Manea and Tanaka does what Tanaka does in October, they should be fine

“I think that the whole thing started as a little pebble, turned into a snowball, and has gone into an avalanche. I mean, if you look at their record this year with Aaron Judge out of the lineup, it’s under .500. He’s an important part of what they do. And I thought Stanton did okay during the weekend, and all that. But, I mean when you’re playing Luke Voit and Shane Robinson in important games—you know, shame on the Yankees for not having the depth, but again, shame on guys like Jacoby Ellsbury for not getting healthy! Shame on Clint Frazier for not getting healthy! Again, you can’t make them get healthy, but if those guys are healthy it’s a completely different animal.”

I have no problem with Fraziers reaction to that

I like Kay but he has his favorites, talks them up when they are playing well, stays silent when they suck

He called Greg Bird a "great" hitter yesterday and Austin Romine "very solid"

Both have been unmitigated disasters

You think that Kay was criticizing Frazier? Really?

Kay definitely has his favorites. Here's a list of them...

You're right again. If they had had Cole all year, they wouldnt be playing the WC game in Oakland. It'd be Oakland playing the WC game in bawstun.

Yes I'm sure that if you replace Gleyber with Neal Walker and insert Gerrit Cole, that should make up that 10 game difference

Frazier probably is pissed about the implicit comparison to Ellsbury more than anything.

He isn't biased. He has a radio show. Had one for close to 20 years now. He isn't afraid to slam yankees players or coaches.

I've listened to his radio show in the past although I stopped listening to the radio a long time ago.

He'll call out players and coaches certainly. But he also knows where his bread is buttered and he's never going to really attack either.

It comes on YES network if you have it.

I don't listen to radio either. I just watch radio shows that are on tv lol

His TV show is more of a interview show and far less contentious than his radio show was/is. Which isn't surprising.

The person that really should be offended by Kay's comments is Sugar Shane Robinson. Guy has a stellar AB on Sunday and gets shit on by both Kay and then his own rookie teammate that appears to think the world revolves around him.

I think you misunderstood or maybe poorly worded on my part.

His radio show is simulcast every day on YES so technically I'm not listening to the radio. I'm watching them on TV

For a guy who was so full of piss and vinegar four months ago, you sure are a bitter man these days. Not enough handsome men cuming into Stan's?

what will the yanks do now?:suds:

Jacoby Ellsbury underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his left hip and is expected to need about six months to recover.

This brings an end to a 2018 season that never got started for Ellsbury, who has also dealt with oblique, foot and back ailments. The Yankees still owe him $21 million for each of the next two season, plus a $5 million buyout of his 2021 option, so he'll have a bench spot if he can come back healthy next year.
