A new star on the horizon!

His name is Rhys Hoskins. A hot and upcoming 1st baseman for the Phillies. Although there has been little mention of Hoskins I just wanted to give you some of his stats. Hoskins is hitting .315 in the winter league. In 108 at bats he has 5 homeruns, 21 Rbis, 13 doubles, an obp of .375. plus his slugging percentage is 574 and his ops is 949. But this not a fluke! He hit 319 with 17 homeruns in a full season between A and A+ ball.
plus he drove in 90 runs and hit 36 doubles! Rhys is 6.4 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. He looks like our future 1st baseman. He will start the season in reading in 2016. Since he is only 22 years old he could make it to the Phillies by the age of 24. Something to look forward to!

Yeah, I followed him this past summer. He looks really talented. Look for a '06 Howard breakout 10 years later (just hopefully not the '10-'15 Howard decline)
