Charger fans on social media seem to really like the guy and are sad he's gone. So that's good for us.

1. Watt
2. Shazier
3. DeCastro

4. Pickett
5. Harris

6. Dupree
7. Edmunds

8. Burns
9. Bush
10. Jones

1-3 easy choices... For the last couple years I still find myself wondering what this defense might look like with Shazier in the middle.

4-5... Jury is still out.

6-7... Bucket of meh

8-10... I could waffle between these 3 as the worst of the last 10 years. If you force me to pick just 1 as the worst pick, I'd say Bush simply because of the capital given up to acquire him. But purely based on "what we got to see", Jarvis Jones was hot garbage. Bush & Burns at least gave us a glimmer of hope early on before they became damaged goods. Jones just never lived up to the hype at any point in his career.

If Pickett hits he's #1. If not, he's #10 lol. You're either it or you're not. 4's a good spot for now.

Was gonna do a list but I wouldn't change a thing in your rankings.

Looks like the Steelers are priming their next "in-house" hire. Setting that piece into place for when they finally decide to move on from Canada's bum as$. And low & behold, yet another collegiate hire. Most recently he was the OC/QB-coach for a 3-9 Arizona State squad. This guy was also the offensive coordinator at UNLV (2020-21) when they went 0-6 in '20 & 2-12 in '21. He also co-OC coached at Baylor and they went 1-11 in '17, 7-6 in '18, and 11-3 in '19. He had a 3 year stint as Matt Ryan's QB coach from 2012-2014 (2 years prior to Matty Ice's MVP year), and was an offensive assistant for 4 years in ATL prior to that promotion.

Nothing glamorous about this hire as far as I can tell.

Glad to see Gentry was resigned. So many people were dismissing him and sayin Heyward would become the TE2... Like they don't even understand the difference between what Gentry & 'Muth/Heyward do. We had the same problem years ago when they couldn't find a reliable replacement for Spaeth. Heyward playin the 6th OL role blocking in the trenches would have been questionable at best. Even 'Muth struggles with that.

Nah, Watts is a DE. Wormley is still unsigned, seems like this is filling that hole.

But yeah Alualu is a FA too.

Honestly forgot about Wormley and assuming he is an upgrade over Wormley.

Worm won’t be resigned. His injury was a nail in the coffin.

Oh forgot he was even hurt.
Worm might have been worth 1 more deal if he hadn't been injured... But we know Alualu was no longer serviceable. I figured it was a matter of time before both were replaced via FA this offseason. But these new guys aren't stalwarts. And neither is Ogunjobi for that matter. The DL has capable pieces, but they still need to rebuild it with more talent before things get dire.
