At the beginning of the season, I was hoping that KGb would be able to provide us with a reliable 5th starter. Who would have guessed he would be holding the rotation together the first 6 weeks. KGb has really kicked some ass. Was hoping for adequate, got something far better than that. Hope he maintains it.

Obviously not 0 ERA good. But the guy is nasty.

Throws 95/96 consistently and deep into his pitch count. That slider when on is filthy.

Does have a few issues tho

Walks, high pitch counts and beaning the back up catcher in the head being the main ones. Also seems to hang the slider a bit.

But yeah, he’s good. With him and Berrios it’s nice having guys with legit stuff. Now we need consistency.

I remember a guy named Alberts, who pitched two shut outs in his first two games for the Twins. A couple years later, he was pitching in Korea. The league catches up to you. What you do then will decide your fate.
