only two months to go before camp, and the only changes to the roster is a catcher that can't hit his body weight. Come on guys, I'd like to see a team that at least has a chance to win when I go to a game.

That's going to take a few years. My gut feeling is next year will make this season's team look good. That's part of the reason I hope they trade Dozier now before his value plummets.

Agreed, there is absolutely no reason to keep Dozier, if they can get some good young starting pitching he has got to be moved.

I honestly think there are some reasons to look forward to next season. If Kepler, Buxton & Rosario can play all year like they did during their peaks this season we are going to have a very good OF. Sano has to be better doesn't he? I really like Polanco. The real questions are Vargas and Park what do we do with them? I wish they could find a taker for Mauer even if we have to eat a part of his contract.

It's difficult to imagine the starting staff being as bad as they were this year.

I'm not saying we are a playoff team but there is some reason for optimism...
