Damn it Gallardo
he sucks...I don't know what was on the scouts mind for Dan to give him that contract
Damn it Gallardo
We need to pair Miley and Gallardo up every 5th day and save the majority of the bullpen for nights we actually have a shot to win.
As for the offense, we had plenty of chances and just couldn't capitalize on a lot of them after the 1st inning.

Am I the only one who's noticing a pattern?
I think that's 3 strikes for Duquette. The top priority for the 2016 off-season should be finding a new GM.
- Jimenez: 4.85 ERA / 1.49 WHIP with the Orioles
- Gallardo: 5.44 ERA / 1.60 WHIP
- Miley: 8.41 ERA / 1.87 WHIP

We need to get rid of the 6 man rotation. Pair Miley and Gallardo and Jimenez and Worley.
Tillman
Bundy
Guasman
Miley+Gallardo
Jimenez + Worley
Let's look at their stats since the all-star break:
Gausman: 2.58 ERA / 1.20 WHIP
Jimenez: 3.24 ERA / 1.01 WHIP (!)
Tillman: 4.34 ERA / 1.31 WHIP
Worley: 4.34 ERA / 1.34 WHIP (including 2 starts)
Bundy: 4.38 ERA / 1.31 WHIP (4.91 ERA / 1.70 WHIP in September so far... maybe he's getting tired?)
Gallardo: 5.74 ERA / 1.60 WHIP
Miley: 8.41 ERA / 1.87 WHIP
So, here's what I would suggest instead:
1. Gausman
2. Jimenez
3. Tillman
4. Worley + Bundy
5. Gallardo + Miley
That's what I'm hoping for is to win at least two or three the next couple of series and then take two of three from the remaining series against Arizona, Toronto and New York. If we can do that, I don't see why we couldn't be at least one of the wild cards.Cross-posted to Camden Depot earlier this week:
(For the record, the official response from them was that the Orioles have improved over the last 5 seasons despite notable bad moves such as these. I guess this is one of those situations where we just have to agree to disagree...)
I had the same idea... basically, it's like gerrymandering (at worst, you give up every 5th game in exchange of increasing your chances of winning the other 4). Then again, if the Orioles can repeat their recent pattern of winning 2 out of every 3 games, they'll probably reach the postseason one way or another...
Perfect relayHell yeah Bourne!
