So much for his dream of playing for the German National team in the next World Cup.

Embarrassingly bad, lol. At least he didn't spike himself and earn that $50M on the sideline for the next 2 seasons.

Remains to be seen how willing they will be to pay the luxury tax continuously.
Not really, they've already said on may occasions they will do whatever is necessary to win- including paying their players.

I'm sure when they got KD that they knew this would be inevitable.

Yeah, I don't think Durant signs if he believes the Warriors won't pay the luxury tax.

Just look up Royce Young. He talks about it on his Twitter. He also has an article on ESPN. I don't think I have ever linked an ESPN article here. I feel like I might get banned if I do so.

Unless he blows out both ankles and both knees, there is no way they don't pay him.

Luxury taxes be damn'd.

Just keep stockpiling the front court offense seems to be the plan.

specifically build a team that can exploit the very thin frontcourt defense of GS.

If we get anything from Parker and Ginobili, I think we can win the title again with this frontcourt.

They just cannot be horrible. And sadly that is a possibility.

To keep Durant and Curry, of course. I don't know that they will max out that cap room before re-signing Curry though. They may prefer to go the cheap route with the depth.

That doesn't mean they'll use all available cap space to add more costly depth to this team though. Of course they'll re-sign Durant and Curry, I wasn't doubting that part.

He's a nice bench piece. But the Spurs still lack a Splitter type of player, kind of what the Thunder have in Adams. They definitely have a very offensive front court in the 3 (Lee, Aldridge, and Gasol). I still doubt that the Spurs beat the Dubs.

i like the signing...

Lee is actually a pretty damn good offensive player when i have watched him and he can rebound...maybe im putting to much weight on what he did in the Finals to the Cavs 2 years ago- but in that series he proved he can be a guy who helps- certainly more than David West did for you guys last year.

Offense hasn't been the same since 2013 or 2014
