Chip is betting on if you throw enough shit against the wall at ILB, Safety and Corner you can come out with some players. Nothing wrong with that.

Been doing yard work all day so just got in.

This is what Im thinking to. If we get enough guys, hopefully we can get a steal, if not, dump em. We should have enough competition to find a few guys and a little depth.

I like it.

Outside of the 3rd round LB I like the draft.

Wasn't happy about getting Alghalor? in the 1st but with getting Rowe in the 2nd I'm good with it. Like the depth building at the DB spot. Like the trade of the 4th for an extra 3rd next year. Think Chip shit the bed though with Hicks though. Wasn't even close to a need and is one of our strengths. Woulda been like takin a RB in the 3rd.

I would've preferred an o lineman in round 4, but Chip didn't like what was left on the board.

I suspect we'll see a few as Udfa's there.

They keep thinking they can get linemen later, and they don't because other teams take them. Trading that 4th, I think they did it because they targeted linemen who all got taken. They should have taken Glowinski because he was a great scheme fit. Instead Seattle got him later in the round.

Evidently they didn't give Glowinski a high grade at that point.

So at the end of the day and draft, Chipper did not draft a single Duck. How many Ducks fans jumped off the Eagle bandwagon today?

Chip drafts a size DE prospect out of BC: Brian Mihalik

The defensive version of Ifeanyi Momah: a practice squad project.

Wonder why Gerod Holliman has yet to be drafted, would be a good fit with da birds, especially in these late rounds. Maybe a bad scouting report or something.

Holliman is a horrible tackler ... if he were even an average tackler he would have been off the board a while ago. He only knows how to lower his shoulder to get somebody down.

Drummond is the Kurt Coleman of this draft. I liked him initially but his workouts were mediocre, and people began watching his film closely and realizing he was basically a very mediocre player surrounded by good talent in the secondary.

It's the 6th round. ....everything is a longshot.

Late round picks are really like trying to get lucky and many teams do. In the past even the Eagles got luck with studs after the the 6th round (Clyde Simmons, Seth Joyner, Harold Carmichael and Wilbert Montgomery).

Richard Sherman was a 5th Rounder and Tom Brady was a 6th rounder.

This late in the draft you pick players and hope you get lucky.
