Ghost looks very good on offense he will be with our club soon.

Ghost's time frame will be interesting to see. On the one hand, with Berube's commitment to defensively responsible play I would expect Ghost to take a little longer to develop in that regard. On the other hand, I think the Flyers will be so desperate for some offense from the blueline that he may very well get brought up sooner rather than later.

Ghost - fastest guy on the ice by far made some=defensive zone mistakes needs to get better in defensive zone looked great on offense
Laughton- made some heavy hits stirred up the action and played a good two way game
Morin- Kind of like Coburn didn't do much to notice but he played good. Needs to get stronger got knocked off his skates at least twice
Cousins- Played a good two way game
Sanheim- did very little could see potential solid defensively
Hagg- didn't even know he was out there was invisible most of the game
Goumas -played well
Goalies- both of them played very well neither were tested that much
Coaches Murray and Cote behind the bench just rolled the lines and defense in the same order. Had Laughton center power play that looked pretty good

I liked Ghost, Laughton, and Leier.

Ghost had a great stretch pass to Straka, good pinch on the non-goal, and a filthy spinorama in particular.

Laughton seems to have better hands than I remember: Both he and Leier were buzzing.

Sangria made some good offensive rushes

tweeters are ablaze at practice this morning. sounds like G left the ice really really early in skate. no contact yet, so hopefully nothing too serious.

Early word is a supposed groin injury.

Idk, from what I understand a strained or pulled groin is likely the culprit and that could mean anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks recovery depending on the severity.

Ok so now who replaces G on the 1st center line? Do u keep Schenn on LW or center now? Laughton should definitely make the big club now for sure.

Not good at all. I'd keep schenn at lw though if that's where you plan on playing him. I'd move Vinny up to the top line. Upsets what you're going to try to do in the regular season, the least. IMO.

Schenn - Lacavalier - Voracek sounds good to me.

Then you could have Read - Couturier - Simmonds on the 2nd line.

Kind of wondering who will be there to center the 3rd & 4th lines tho, unless they call up Scott Laughton.

True, he shouldn't miss anymore than preseason. Might hurt him at the beginning of the season but it shouldn't be a big deal in the long term.
