I think we come close to doing that in a few years when Mazara, Gallo, Alfaro, and others are up and especially if Rua continues to impress. That and picking up a key free agent.
I believe Odor will hit a few HRs. Not saying 20 even though he could in time but could hit 15.

He hit 9 last year, so a year later with a full season it's not unreasonable for him to hit 15 this year.

Maybe JD should have addressed this instead of thinking Kirkman or Claudio could do the job. Just saying...

I'd say he's been trying. Sure doesn't seem like his available options have been that great.

I'm sure he is now. How long have we all known that Kirkman is a mental midget? JD very well could've been trying the whole off-season. I don't know. It just seems he thought he had the lefties and has realized recently that he was wrong.

They attempted to spend exactly what they had budgeted for a LH'er and ended up with what they got which didn't pan out. There was not much available and especially at what they were willing to spend. Hope the right handers can get lefties out

That seems like an awfully big assumption given our lack of actual knowledge of FO goings on.

I think JD has been trying. What he has tried just hasn't worked out. Doesn't look like there was much out there. JD will find someone to fill that role.

I'm with you Duane. If there had been any reasonable acquisition out there he would be a Texas Ranger today.

I thought Beimel was a good signing and he pulled his best Hanson/Saunders. STUNK IT UP!

Yes, I expect him to hit about 15 this year. Maybe even a bit more.

I still don't understand why Edwar Cabrera and Martire Garcia weren't given more of an opportunity to show what they could do in camp.

Any guesses for our record at the end of April?

I will guess 9-12.
