Tough to say. As fans, we say to ourselves that the ring is paramount and he doesn’t have one yet. Philly is by no means a guarantee of a ring. Shit, I don’t think I put Philly top ten with that Big 3 because what are they if Embiid is hurt? But as a human being, I could see him wanting to be close to his family. I heard that at least one of his parents isn’t doing too well and may not have much time. How do you compare that desire to be around to trying to get that ring? Tough call on a human level.
