You have to have the proper context though. The Blazers had guys out injured.They didn't have Nurkic all season. The only reason they have him now is because of the shutdown. If the Blazer had been healthy all season, they are in the 4-6 seed range.

Thats The reason I said "might",. Some times the seeding is not indicative of a teams real ability

Dame hasn’t had the same roster for sure that Steph has. But people been talking crazy disrespectful about Steph.

I don’t think it is disrespectful in any way to say Dame is better.

Dame had Luka have been the 2 best players in the bubble. Steph isn’t here and he played 5 games this season.

Dame is a great player.

Is it recency bias?

Probably.

But Dame has always been left out of the elite player convos and he is good enough to be there. Not a knock to say that 1 great player is better than another.

Lakers usually make PGs look good, as they don't really have anyone to shut them down. When Caru-show is your best option, you'll get strong effort, but not necessarily the results you need. Rondo doesn't defend anymore and their other options are decent defenders at best. Surprised they haven't been torn up worse by Lillard and CJ.

Absolutely hate that news.

Hopefully it isn’t anything that will impact him beyond a couple weeks. Need a healthy Dame for the start of next year.
