As little as they play I'm sure a lot of Texas fans were willing to pay good money to go to a game at Notre Dame Stadium, kind of one of those bucket list type of things.

Well of course, can't blame them for that.

I guess I can't be too harsh, I got my tickets for Lou's last home game from Rutgers' allotment and enjoyed every single freezing minute.

i'm going down to clemson and i bet there will be a small pocket of green. i wish the ticket holders cared for their team more than make a few bucks. its not like they are getting rich by selling these tickets, what make 2-3k over the season, because they are not selling umass, wake forest, and navy tickets for very much....upsetting....sad.

There were some peeps paying really big bux for these tix. The cheapest ones on Stubhub weeks before the game stayed pretty steady at $400+ right up to game time.

Hell, the local news network here (WNDU) did a story/vid on tailgate time ... there was this one chick flashed her $3000 for two tix that she paid for. Sorry, I love my Irish football, but nope ... not gonna pay that much. Both my bros went trolling on game day and got themselves one each at face value. Lucky bastages.

And, yes, there was a butt-ton of burnt orange in our house. My bros said they never seen nothing like that in all the 35+ years they been going to games. Not a proud moment.

Said the same thing when they panned the seats; "Lots of orange at this game". Hope they enjoyed their trip and ass kicking in SB.....rough flight home.
