Just saying. He got Lucroy and a shut down reliever under control through 2020 (Jeffress) without giving up Profar which was huge. Not including Gallo is really nice too, though I'm still bullish on him. He got the Yankees to pay beltrans remaining salary for one legitimate arm in high A.

Giving up Ortiz is the one I'm afraid is going to hurt.

Oh. And we keep Mazara too.

For sure no doubt. Just saying, the Rangers and a handful of other teams made moves to trade young prospects to win now. And the Rangers got much better. It will be a total failure if the Cubs don't win it though lol.

We've got farm depth. I'm happy with our moves.

While I am not ruling out a Longoria trade, Duffy came up as a 2B/SS. He could very well become their new Zobrist.

Good point. His bat does play better as a 2B/SS so if he can go back to either MI-IF position then that will turn out well for the Rays.
