I just looked and Caplan did NOT report 4th rounder and Kenny Stills. That was a fake twitter account. So, we don't know what if anything they got. Probably a conditional 7th, basically nothing.
Well that certainly changed the tone for me.

Now to send Demarco Murray to anywhere...for a bag of balls. It would almost get rid of the Chip stank from last year.

Holy Shit...Looks like its Maxwell AND Kiko to the Dolphins per Schefter for a draft pick.

Better be an early one

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the Eagles are finalizing a trade that would send Maxwell and Kiko Alonso to the Miami Dolphins for "draft pick compensation." Matt Lombardo of 97.5 The Fanatic noted Schefter added that the deal is "expected to get done."

Welp, looks like the LB corp is shaping up nicely. Kiko had no spot after the way Hicks played.

Now, the word is we're also trading spots with Miami to get the 8th pick. CB? OT? WR?

I wonder how much Carroll is going to cost coming off a broken ankle. 2-3 mill for next year, maybe 3yrs 14-16 mill total. Seems like a move is more for 2017 to free up money to sign Fletcher Cox, being the big dollars won't happen on his deal until 2017. I also think the Eagles may be interested in Leodis Mckelvin who played well for Schwartz in the one year he was in Buff and could also double as a returner. That would allow the Eagles to move on from Darrin Sproles

No way I want to move on from Sproles. That guy is the most explosive RB we have at times. Can't tell you how many games I watched other RB's just hit the line and go nowhere, and sproles would squirt by. I think sproles is tremendously under utilized. He's a great RB to run 2 RB sets with as he can double as a WR out of the backfield as well.

Picking up another WR for the Maxwell trade would be wonderful. I just don't see us needing another WR through the draft. We used a 1st and 2nd round pick on WR and have our #1 and #2 set. Any WR coming in is fighting for a 3rd spot. No reason to use a draft pick for that with all our other needs. Rather hit FA or trade for that.

While Maxwell was way overpaid to begin with it just adds another hole to the team.

Not really. With Maxwell we don't have a #1 corner, and without Maxwell we don't have a #1 corner. Carroll is probably better and will cost less to be the #2 corner. The secondary needs a lot of talent added to it. Having Maxwell there just takes up resources and roster space.

WOW kiko also???

They are shredding Chips moves

I was still on the fense with kiko. amazing talent. But health became a serious issue.

Moving up in the 1st as part of the deal??? I take WR off the table. What CB, OT or qb does that possible buy us moving up from 13 to 8??? Can't help but wonder if that buys us a lot more in return to trade down from 8 now tho.

I agree he's not a #1 CB, it's why I said he was way overpaid even then. He's a #2 CB. We still need a #1 and a #2 now.

Did you see or hear this from someone half legit or from someone on twitter hoping for it? I ask only cause I saw someone on twitter saying it and not a "reporter" type.

I had seen in same tweet response that it was just a swapping of 3rd n 4th...Our 4th for their 3rd and gives us cap space.

#8 would be a great spot to be if that's a part of the deal. Would pretty much ensure us one of Mackensie, Hargreaves, or Stanley. Also would let us trade down and pick up a 2nd and stay in the Conklin range.

# 8 could get us a pretty nice bounty. If we traded 8 for say something in the later teens, what could the rest of the return bring? I am thinking at least a 2nd and maybe something else.

Man we better be swapping first round picks and maybe an additional 2nd or third?
