seattle is in big trouble. wilson isnt a top QB. cant carry a team. he is a game manager. nothing wrong with that. just cant too much on his plate. seattle O looks bad. not that ours looks better

Seattle plays the 49ers and Cardinals twice and the Eagles. They won't even make the playoffs.

Thats pretty disappointing. He thought he should get 100% of the snaps? so he would rather not play at all and pout on the sidelines? what a bitch. Well the defense didnt miss him today so maybe he show rethink his plan that was clearly drawn up by an 8 year old.

Brooks should only be in games against the Saints.....but seriously If he cant see that Smith and Lynch are an absolutely devastating combo he is letting his pride cloud his sense. I am a Brooks fan but he is not generating any pressure on passing downs.

Really sad if this is all true. I can sympathize a little. He's on a team that has a bad habit of producing good Linebackers. A better than average Linebacker on the Niners can be let go. Like Parys Harrelson. But really, he should control his emotions. Being whiny doesn't help.

I hope so. But the O needs to play better. That effort works when Eli throws 5 picks, but its not going to get it done in the Seattle, Arizona, or San Diego games.

D is playing amazing, though.

Fuck that guy. Time to see what they can get for him. I'm thinking he can be had for a few rolls of athletic tape and a bag of gently-used K balls. Fucking quitter.

Superheroes Rise up as DEFENSE rules the day in 49ers 16-10 win over the NY Giants

The NFL keeps coming up with ways to stick it to the defense . They say they want more offense in games but for people who really understand the game DEFENSE wins Championships and a kick ass defense will fire me up every single time. I come from the Ronnie Lott school of football...Shut em' down ,give the opposing offense nothing and lay as many WOOOO hits as possible making the other team feel like they are in a fight to the very end. Today the 49ers DEFENSE brought it and Eli Manning and the NY Giants are feeling that pain tonight after a 49ers gutty, bring the pain victory 16-10 in New York,

This was a throwback game to back in the day when warriors like Lott, Hacksaw Reynolds , and Fred Dean roamed the battlefield looking for someone to snap in half. They would pick themselves up and jog back to the huddle like they were just bringing home the groceries for dinner. No fancy dances or showing up anyone...just solid defense played by classy players. They were the Superheroes that got it done when the offense was having their problems scoring points.

The 49ers brought pain today and Manning is still trying to figure out how he threw 5 INT's. Borland had 2 INT's and 13 total tackles making his mark and opening eyes around the league as a up and coming linebacker star. His first INT was a thing of beauty as he read the eyes of Manning to contort his body like he was made of rubber snagging the ball. His last INT came late when a ball was tipped on a brilliant goal line stand by the 49ers D on 4th down at the 2 yard line. One of the 49ers coaches calls him the "little cannonball" as Borland continues to cause damage to the opposing defense. Another great game by Napoleon Cannonball.

Reid, Culliver, and Wilhoite also were huge today picking off Manning and frustrating the Giants QB all day. Aldon Smith made his 2014 debut and put good pressure on Eli all game. McDonald and Lynch each had a sack and played well.

On offense Crabtree had the big play in the 3rd quarter catching a 48 yard TD from Kaepernick that split the NY defense right down the middle and Dawson added 3 FG for all the offense for the day. The 49ers could of blown this game open many times but kept shooting themselves in the foot. They have to find consistency on offense to be a force in the playoffs.

On this Sunday it was a salute to the DEFENSIVE Superheroes who dominated all day and told the NFL that defense is alive and well from the team who resides in the City by the Bay. Somewhere Ronnie,Hacksaw, and Fred smiled with 49ers Pride.

DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-FENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it !!

Go 49ers !!

It just seems like a such a crowded wildcard race and i had high hopes for the lions to come away with the win today with the way their D has been playing. Aside from the ATL game its a pretty tough schedule they have left. I could easily see them losing 3 just within the division games they have left. But that is still a pretty tight window I suppose.

Dallas and Philadelphia play each other twice (we own the tiebreaker over both) and we get to play Seattle twice. It's a crowded wildcard race, but at least we control our own destiny.

Very true. Lets hope Lions fall apart like this usually do and get themselves out of the race.

I think they trade brooks after this year. U cant quit on your team. Lynch sounded like he was disappointed in him. Calling him big brother and doesn't understand whats going on.
