Agreed but you gotta realize that every damn week I don't see any of the elite qbs consistently doing that. If that was the case then we would be undefeated. People still seem to forget that kap has played what like 18 games in his career. It's understandable to feel like this and be frustrated but it's not like the Brady's or the lucks or even Bree's are doing it every weekend.

It's easy to call out kaepernick but give credit to Carolina. Our defense gets credit and so should Carolina's.

Carolina's defense deserves credit for what it was able to do. Still, we didn't need or expect the passing game to go for 400 yards. All it needed to do was score on the turnover and sustain a couple of drives and we win. If this team is going to go anywhere, it has to be able to create more than what it did today against a good defense.

I dont think anyone is discrediting Carolina's defense... everyone knows or should've known that they are good...

But were we not picked as the most likely team to win the NFC and perhaps the SB? Sure doesn't look like it the way Kap is struggling... and its the mental part, you can't have that go on and on without fixing it...

It sucks, our defense is far from the sackmasters and TO machines thus we need to rely on Kap and the offense to do their part...

If Roman/Harbs wants to take Gore out of the game(playcall wise) then Kap better fucking come through... he hasn't through this point.

Cause didn't you read... it was Kap being bad and not Carolina being good. Welcome to the 49ers board!!

Hey, Carolina played a great game on defense. But we had less than 50 total passing yards, and under 100 actual passing yards. Our drives in the second half went for 8, 17, 12, 3, 11, and -6 yards. No defense in today's NFL is so good that that should happen. Ever. It was among the most pathetic offensive performances I have ever seen.

Yeah, h0ckeysk83r? Well, your avatar isn't wearing any fucking pants! (then again, guess that isn't a bad thing haha)

I think there is a bit of a "sky if falling" sensation, but mostly because 1) the game JUST happened, and it was a heartbreaker, and 2) People probably weren't watching CAROLINA's winning streak.

Carolina played well and deserved the W today. Hope we get our injured guys back soon, and maybe have another chance in the playoffs to get a bit of revenge on our old division rivals. :fencing:

The "sky is falling" sensation is because the Hawks are all but certain to win the division at this point. And I can't see this team going into Seattle and winning unless they make some drastic changes.

that's if we make the playoffs....

Carolina, maybe Philly, Chicago, GB, AZ? can all ruin our plans for the playoffs...

I think we'll still make it but damn, Kap better man up... take some responsibility for the lost, has he ever done that?(and i ask genuinely, cant recall that he said he needs to do better)

My opinion on Kaepernick has not changed all season. He isn't a good QB, plain and simple. I would be absolutely shocked if don't look QB either in this draft or the next one.

He has. I remember him earlier in the year saying he needs to play better.

Carolina is very underrated i remember our opening day we struggled against them and almost lost we had to come from behind in the 4th quarter to pull off that win

Excellent defense for sure. I had a feeling this would be a close game.

It's your opinion that's fine.

All I will say is that he has barely had just over a full year of games. Saw the same shit from Peyton manning his first yr of playing full year.

Davis being out and some key drops hurt momentum for you guys offensively... It wasn't all on Kap.. He also got pressured allot today... You guys hadn't really had a tough matchup for over a month so your offense was kinda out a rhythm... The last 5 games you've been running over teams upfront.. Carolina matched up physically.

Peyton Manning's struggles were completely different. Manning threw interceptions but he also moved the ball and threw touchdown passes which are two things that Kaepernick doesn't do. Peyton also was much better at reading defenses and going through his progressions, taking a system and making it his. Peyton threw for nearly 4,000 yards and 26 tds in his first season as a starter.

On the other hand we see Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, RG3, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Matt Stafford, etc. all play leaps and bounds better than this in their first season starting.

Also this is his 3rd season in this offense and practicing an NFL system. The he's young, argument just doesn't work for me as he hasn't shown to make any progress what so ever.

I say this with love. We get it we lost! Boo hoo. We just had a 5 game win streak. You guys are laughable. Kaep has barely had a full season played. Ya it wasn't pretty but in today's NFL it just isn't pretty every week. If it was that easy we would win every single game. Colts just lost to the damn rams and got smoked.

Kap may not be playing great but it doesn't mean he is a 2nd string qb like I have seen some of you saying. I get it's frustrating but damn it's embarrassing seeing all these posts.

Niner fans are high maintenance.

Maybe it will take Kap longer to develop into an elite quarterback. Maybe it may even take a different team. Like Drew Brees.

This is a problem. How exactly does Kaepernick compare to Peyton Manning in their first years, or anytime during their respective careers? Please be specific.

Valid points. But to call him a bust after just barely over a full seasons worth of games is garbage. His 8 games last yr can't be discounted.

it's too early to say that. he played great at times and showed potential. our offensive line just stunk today. its only his first full season as a starter.

"Waaaaahhhhh. Stop criticizing my team when they legitimately deserve criticism. Waaaaaaahhhh!!!!"

Did I say something that wasn't true? Even though it's an opinion, I think most would agree that Niner fans are historically high maintenance. It's not a bad thing either. It pushes the team's ownership and front office to do great things. I can proudly say that I expect more out of my team than Raider fans do.

If you don't think I'm critical of my own team, then you haven't read enough of my posts.

The point is that manning was drafted much higher and still played shitty. Quit acting like kaepernick is the god damn best qb ever to grace the field and that he should be golden every week. I see brady, Bree's even Rodgers play like shit.

This shit happens. Carolina played us good. It's funny warty I haven't seen you post all season till now. Where were you when we were winning.
