Just heard tonight that Trailer Park Boys are filiming seasons 8 and 9 for Netflix only. HELL YEAH! There is a trailer (no pun) for season 8.

That sucks....i finally started watching it last december and watched all 5 seasons....i didnt know season 6 was on yet or i wouldve DVR'd it....that sucks....heard someone popular gets killed too..

And it has every episode of the original GI Joe.

No Thundar the Barbarian which kinda sucks.

Sooo last nite I was a little bored and was checking out my Roku channels...I be DAMNED if a "YouTube" app had been added to me selections!

I can now watch all me beloved music on me main screen TV now and pipe the sound outdoors via the bluetooth too!

Time to dump the cable a set up for a summer of music and barbecues on the porch again!

They suck at adding new stuff though...cant wait for the trailer park boys tho....that and season 6 of sons of anarchy.

They just have to wait like a year on some stuff is what sucks. Like MadMen Season 6 just came out finally.

But personally I don't mind waiting. It's so much better being able to watch them in sequence than it is waiting a week between episodes. It's even better when you haven't watched any of them and you get to watch multiple seasons in a row - Like I did with the first 5 seasons of madmen.

What really sucks is CBS won't allow their stuff on it, and they have their own thing online, but only carry like 5 episodes back at most. Fuck you CBS, I watched all of Elementary first season, but I missed the start of the 2nd season and now I can't catch up and I refuse to start watching towards the end of the season.

They are good at tv shows but they are lacking in movies, and yes sometimes it takes a while for a new season to come up.

@ less than 10 bucks a month, Netflicks is such a good value. I haven't even figured out what all is on this Roku device and where it's apps will lead me.

One things for sure, my daily $4+ dollars/day of cable television costs just dropped by 75%/day down to $1/day.

With those numbers it's easy for anybody to put an extra $1100/year in your pocket and see a bunch of new crap ya haven't seen in awhile on netflicks et al AND view clips from most of what you watch daily on your cable packages too. Win/win for the average tv consumer in my OP.
