How many more wins would TEX have if Gentry started all year? Still think he's the better CF over Martin ... but combined Martin and Gentry would have terrorized pitchers and catchers all year.

I, like you, wanted to see Martin in LF with Gentry in CF (or vice-versa) a lot more. But I am always a little leery of trying to project a full season out of a part time player. Just because he has done well with 220 AB doesn't mean this would maintain for a full season.

But Gentry has been a true bright spot for us all season with his limited opportunities.

But you don't get to this point with Nellie in the lineup. It took this team a while to adjust without Cruz's bat, but now they look like the team from 2010 that ran themselves into that first World Series. Alex Rios style has really helped this team. He's not that big banger like Nellie. Now we have 5 or 6 guys who can really put pressure on the defense.
