Sure it's best not to lose this series but it just happens. It's baseball. And the A's aren't going anywhere. Welcome to a tight pennant race that will likely go into the last week and few games of the season if not the last game.

I hope you're right... It seems like the A's are more stable than us.

Rangers starters are on a magic stretch....It's a shame the offense is not as well.

The grass is always greener. I'm not discounting them as a very very good team but they're just as aware of us as we are of them. Welcome to a tight baseball pennant race. Just ask NY, Boston, and TB over the years.

With all due respect, it's a lot easier to keep things grounded when you lose to good teams. Not bad teams at home who shouldn't give you much trouble.

The M's have played us tough all season! That's the reality of it. I think this makes us like 8-7 - or some such - against them.

Why not look at this way? We have a winning percentage against some real good teams. How about the Reds, Cards, Tigers, TB, Oakland?

I'm hoping our mastery of Oakland continues.... We're gonna need it lol

Last year was the first year rangers were tested in a tight playoff race. They crumbled. Hopefully they respond better this time

Allow me to tell what a strange day it's been; Hamilton is 2-3, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI and has brought his average UP to .230!

And tomorrow is just that; another day! Relax guys!

They have tight races amongst top five teams. Aside from TEX and OAK the rest of the ALW are second division sub .500 teams. Just like last year it was SEA that was the killer that took TEX down the slide.

Wash is a real dick to that Asian lady. She's like the only one willing to ask him hard questions too.

Who is that guy playing RF now for TEX? Can't remember his name. Does he ever get a hit? Seems like it takes a real long time for him to get to balls hit to RF. What's his name again? Did he come up from AAA?

Yep Seattle has played us pretty darn well the past couple of seasons.

I called a tight pennant race at the beginning of the season, what I'm trying to say...is it won't be tight if we keep losing games we should win

I want to say he may not be that familiar with the park but that's not the case because he's played here as an opponent for many many years.

He also had a walk off last night.
But, apparently he only hits against the Astros and one good against the Cards

... 46 games @ RBIA. It's not like RF at RBIA has anything odd about it other than the bullpen pop out. We saw Rios not make a play on a ball there in the MIL series. Just seems like it takes him a real long time to get around to the corner when there's a LH bat up even. Am sure I'm just imagining it.

And don't worry gang ... Rios is not the new Murphy. I hope.

Why is that a non native English speaker is the only one willing to take Wash to task in the post game interviews?

He does have that IDGAF look but I just think that's the way his normal demeanor is. That said I really don't see him as another Murphy. He simply just provides insurance because of Cruz's absence this season and next season. Other than that I don't think we should have expected anything out of the ordinary from him. He'll do some good things but will also spare us to death at times as well.

I think she asked Wash if he was tired after the 6th if I have that correctly.
