Well played Devils. I would like to point out that we basically played like garbage, but you guys stuck with it even when Bryz was the only thing keeping us in the game. A win is a win, and a loss is a loss, and you won and we lost.

Great win! Larsson showed he belongs. Clarky with a huge goal. Zajac stood with the play and got rewarded with a goal. Nice shot by Salvador.
Greene played a great game. Zids is still taking too many stupid penalties. Harrold still blows. Marty was vintage Marty. We need more out of Parise. Hopefully Kovy return and adds something.

No for me.... Kovy needs to get healthy & it seems the team has some spark without him. But we drop the game Thursday & I'll probably change my mind.

yeah i was thinking the same thing irish...we were one bounce away from going home 2-0 wow...but its all good we got the split.
i dont think kovy plays thursday....if they do lose then he will play sunday. i think there are 3 days off between games 4 and 5* which will be necessary now!

I still think they need to dress someone other than Harrold at forward. Larsson stays in the lineup as far as I'm concerned.

careful what you wish for if Kovy is out, sitting Harrold probably brings in an "enforer"
We are tough on Harrold, but he aint bad. He basically jumped from AHL level to NHL playoffs. I am more upset that Larsson didnt get chance to play til tonight.
And tonight, Harrolds job was take Kovy's spot on power play. Not easy guys to replace.

My only complaint about Harrold is him being the point on the PP..no way does he belong there. And even though we didnt miss him tonight , 9 times outta 10 Kovy's buries that chance that Harrold had on what I think was our 2nd power play.
But I do agree with you guys , slim chance we see Kovy in Game 3 and I would hope that the team keeps up the intensity. Things got a little chippy at the end with Salvador catching a high stick and Simmonds acting like an idiot after the horn. Id love to have Janssen in there one game. The home crowd would totally feed off of him.

On a much more positive note, Larsson played pretty well on D, goal was freaking sick.

I agree Cup and Irish... we dont need Kovy on game 3 and if resting is what he needs then rest him.... team showed tonight that they can play without him, although Harrold on the PP in his spot is a joke... hell, put Henrique out there instead.... At least his shot will mean something.... But all in all, great game by the devils... they hung in there when down, and by the mid way point of the second and all of the third we really took it to them... You could see that the cryers were on there heals all of the third and you just got the feeling that one or two goals would brake there goalie and it did... Thank you Larrson and Clarkson for the effort and energy... I thought the refs called a close game that was fair... we had our PP and so did they... our PK was just good tonight which we are use to. Great job by Marty, played well. Hopefully they will ride this emotion into game 3 in NJ and win the next two putting the cryers on there heels.... So far even game 1 I am not impressed by the cryers gameplay..... How in the hell did they beat the pens... oh yeah, the pens have no defense like they do....
Its not over yet and its only one game, but we now have home field advantage....

The Devils outshot them 12-2 in the second, in fact. And to make matters worse, the Flyers opened and closed the period on the power play.
Dont give them fuel for the fire.... this is not the type of team you need to wake up... Just enjoy your win... this was not game 7 or a series ender.... You have alot of hockey left to play and dont give them a reason to play a physical hard game like we know they can do.... Take your win and get ready for the next game...
Hope it doesnt come back to haunt us....
