that's interesting b/c according to that article they say Ladd is not just a slot WR.
Every game I saw him play, he was in the slot at UGA. That is why I asked you how many times you saw him play.

so you would take a guy like Coleman over Ladd b/c of his size? So Worthy is off your board too? b/c of his size?

Nope…I would take Coleman because he is a better prospect for what I am looking for. I would also take Worthy over Ladd because you can’t teach…did you miss it?

Coleman and Ladd have basically the same grade. Different type of Wr's. If you are looking for size, then take Coleman but who is the better all-around WR?

The big guy has a better chance at being a better all around WR because he is simply bigger and can get higher. Coleman also had the top speed going through the gauntlet…just like Nacua the previous year.

Ladd #34. The knock was he is undersized, but DJ mentioned he can play inside and outside.

Coleman #43. The knock was he lacks ideal speed to separate. Plus, he lacks ideal vertical speed. So how does this big guy have a better chance to be a better all-around WR with those two knocks? Yes, he is the better redzone threat no arguments but do you just like him b/c he is big?

One persons opinion.

Ladd obviously lacks size.

Coleman is obviously faster than his 40 suggests…just like Nacua.

fair enough, but DJ has been a pretty reliable pundit.

Isn't Coleman the type of wr we need?

We don't really have a red zone threat and no WR that can grab those 50/50 balls over DBs in the league.

Coleman also is an all conference PR.

McKonkey is somewhat simar to what we already have. Especially Dotson. They both struggle with deep balls from time to time.

Would it not be wise to diversify the WR Corp and select a WR that brings a skillset to the table the others don't?

I am not sure why you like McKonkey so much, but we all have our favorite players.
I have watched McKonkey since he was a Freshmen and always thought he was just OK.

Unless you want 3 WRs with similar skillsets and similar body types (TMac is bigger than Dotson and McKonkey), then I dont see the logic in drafting McKonkey.
I dont recall him playing outside alot at all. Coleman can do both.

The Smurfs! lol. True we dont have the redzone threat, hopefully Ertz can help out with that. gk was saying the better all around WR was the big guy. I disagree. Sure, Coleman has talent, no doubt but I think Ladd does more. Speed, route running, and great hands. Ladd has it over Coleman in these areas. Coleman has the 50/50 balls, size, and redzone threat. But DJ said he has trouble separating.

Two articles were posted that he can play outside. skinsdad from riggosrag and DJ's top 50 players that i posted.
