Man. I'm going to laugh, if after all their shenanigans, the Golden Knights miss the playoffs.

And before anyone says it....

The NHL Board of Governors/owners have the power to fire Bettman, but they probably like the fact that he is there to take all the slings and arrows while at the same time lining their pockets. He (Bettman) doesn't have the decency to retire even though he's been an abject failure over the past 10 years or so at his job.

You give Bettman way to much credit. When you say he has been an abject failure for the past 10 years. He has been an abject failure for 30 years. The only decent thing he has done is expansion and he failed at that by putting too many teams in the south without a team ever going to Houston.

Makes me very angry.
Like, holy shit.... This really should be the end of buttman and daly

By the way, this on the same day that the league is reporting 6.2 billion (yes that is billion with a 'B') in revenues (1 billion more than what was reported 2 years ago).

As I posted above, the only thing that Bettman is concerned with is the bottom line and making sure that league revenues continue to increase. On that particular item, he's done well despite the Coyotes disaster. The question I would pose to Bettman would be how much higher would league revenues be if they wouldn't have had to subsidize the Coyotes over the past 30+ years. How many hundreds of millions of dollars have gone to the Coyotes over that time? Lest we forget, the league actually owned the Coyotes from 2009 until they found new ownership in 2013.

Of course, there are several other issues that have gone unaddressed (salary cap circumvention, officiating, the horrific job by George Parros and the department of player safety just to name three).

Bettman: "We wait to see what the medical experts tell us"

Medical Experts: "Bob Probert's Post Mortem showed he had CTE"

Bettman: "That Matt Rempe is somethin' huh? Should we put a team in Boise?"

Only the Lord saves more than Bernie Parent, but the Lord didn't have to deal with JP Parise...
