Chiefs lack of quality WRs really exposed them in that one. I'm sure they will still figure it out but even someone as great as Mahomes needs somebody to throw to. Toney needs to go to the practice squad for awhile. Give some nobody a shot in his place.

At least the ineptitude was more or less balanced between the two.

The Chiefs really need Kelce back. The extra attention that he commands from the defense is the only chance they have with that crew of skill players. They looked very pedestrian last night.

Won a Super Bowl partially because of Toney. Him and Skyy Moore now in the same boat in terms of being unreliable gimmick guys.

I do think there is some merit to people suggesting Taylor was getting away with stuff on the OL. He was the GMs big offseason move.

I thought Moore wasn't too bad last night, just got lost in a sea of similar players to target. Catches called back by penalty and some uncatchable throws. Weird to see someone so hyped in camp get no official targets in the game, especially with Toney struggling so badly.

He's done this before. He was excellent 2017-2018 as well. Just has to have the talent around him.

I always felt Goff got a bad rap with McVay.

Good coaches coach to their players strengths, which is what the Lions are doing.

McVay was trying to make Goff fit his system, and that doesn’t work with every player.

How many times have we seen players who were deemed “busts” change teams to a system that works for them, and they excel?

Geno Smith and Kirk Cousins to start with.

Let’s maybe pump the brakes on the anointing of Goff. He led two scoring drives in the entire game. They played keep away from the Chiefs by sticking to the running game. He had 4-5 real nice throws but mostly what he’s always been…a game manager.

I don't normally root against players... but seeing Toney fail in a big way last night was delicious.

Dude has all-world ability... accompanied by a 10 cent head. Simple as that.

I also question his passion for the game.
