Some off the wall questions; what do the Eagles do if a player like Jonathon Taylor is available at 53? NFL.com has an article saying he is the best analytical (Eagles love analytics) fit for Eagles to pair with Sanders. Is 53 too low to consider BPA available or do you go for need? If Shenault is available at 53 do you double-dip at WR with Jefferson having been picked at 21 and ignore CB or LB? I don't if J Brooks LB is available. Who else if available should go before Shenault?

Taylor is being undersold. His measurables are S Barkley like...I would not want to be in the decision making position that Howie is in, honestly.
I will be shitting my pants every run play if we draft another college fumbler.

I was not pushing for Taylor, and I certainly don't want Eaglesnut shitting his pants 15 times a game. I guess my question was more pedestrian than anything else. What do the Eagles do when pick 52 is ready to be chosen and one talent way overshadows what is left on the board even the one talent is in an area that is already well-stocked? That was my original intent.

There's not a position on the team where we couldn't draft a BPA.

I would like the Eagles to draft a bulldozer RB to compliment Sanders and Scott. I love a pounding running game. There are several that will be available in rounds 3-5.

Considering they added zero veteran receivers, they could really benefit from adding a power back and a power guard. Maybe Damien Lewis from LSU.

If the tea leaves and rumors are correct then the Eagles are going to get jumped for Jefferson. If that happens I think you might see a trade down. Lots of wild trade rumors ou there including Patriots wanting to trade up for Tua.

I think if Jefferson goes before us, we'd take Mims, or Murray.

Lewis is my #1 OG want. Bulldozer! Pair him with his buddy Cushonberry and we seriously upgrade the OL.

I was just wandering around the net and came across a RB named LeVert Bellamy from W Michigan. One of the guys on NFL.com had him going to us in round 3, before other RB's like A J Dillon. The kid has wheels and hands. Plus he can really adjust for the hole on runs up the middle. But he is only 190-195. So how he would fit? Peterson could figure it out I guess. Pumphrey scares me out of this kind of RB.

LeVante Bellamy is a small sized RB, that is fast, but not what I would want as a power back for us. He has some nagging injuries to. No thanks. You never know though, but for now, I'd pass. I'd rather get Dillon.

LOL from the front page of NFL right now (12 noon West Coast ) the lead article is finding homes for the top 5 RB's. Again the writer has J Taylor to the Eagles. I'm guessing a space filler.

If my posting this stuff is too much someone please say so...Luc Barcoo CB. Eagles have talked to him the most. Pegged as 5-6 round pick. Sticky hands. 6'1 175.

Rumor mill ... the Ravens at Pick 28 are looking to assure LB Patrick Queen in the draft. The Ravens brass and the Eagles brass have a great working relationship. There's no given that Queen makes it to 28. Swap 21 for 28 and a 3rd. The Ravens have 2 2nd rounders and 2 3rd rounders ... so giving up one of their 2 3rds will not hurt them at all.

I like this a lot. Maybe unload R Douglas or fantasy unload AJ. Maybe pick an additional 6th with this trade.

Not bad, if none of the top 4 WR's are gone, and we like who's left.

Yeah, sure, if it's a 6th round pick. That's where he's rated.

Some late stuff I'm hearing from a friend who actually has NFL connections (unlike myself who has none other than him ... lol) and knows way more than I do. I pick his brain every year right before the draft; he's picked quite a few Eagles 1st rounders in recent years (Bunkley, Brandon Graham and Agholor to name a few) ... a ton of misinformation out there right now, but it's fun to speculate anyways. I'll post some stuff relevant to the Eagles in one way or another.

** WR Justin Jefferson higher than the 4th rated receiver on quite a few boards.
** Jalen Reagor high on the New Orleans saints board (they pick at 24)
** A lot of teams looking to trade down this year ... many actually looking for future picks instead of picks in 2020 due to the uncertainty of the off season this year with COVID 19.
** Don't discount OT for the Eagles at 21 as they have nothing to backup either the Left or Right side and there are still questions about Dillard's ability against the bull rush.
** Rasul Douglas may facilitate a trade up for a receiver in Rd 2 if the Eagles go a different route in Rd 1.
** Eagles have a man crush on KJ Hamler. Even if they go WR in Rd 1, they can easily double dip in Rd 2 for Hamler. I think most of us already know about this one.
** Watch out for big Safety's who may be able to transition to LB hybrid. True old fashioned LB'ers seem to be getting phased out with teams like the Chiefs and being replaced with tweener Safety's who can chase and cover. That seems to eliminate Kenneth Murray from the Eagles board. Patrick Queen however gets a bump as he fits more of what the Eagles look for in coverage.

We chatted about a lot more ... but I've had a few and can't remember everything right now :)

If we draft Austin Jackson and Kj Hamler I'm gonna lose it.
