I think I agree with what your saying. I see Mixon as a high RB2 at best on the Bengals, I see Guice as a bust and even that draft pick unless it turns into a top three pick isn’t that valuable.
Course if Barley is just another RB2 I’ll end up regretting not accepting the offer. This has been a tough one for me, appreciate all the input from you all.

If Barkley is a bust then either way you will likely have a top pick next year. Even more likely than trading him. And you said the other team is pretty solid. So it is not like you will get a top pick from them back.

I wouldn't do it.

But I'm the guy that ain't rostering Mixon.

Where did Guice go in this draft?

:puzzled: Weren’t you one of those calling Barkley a once a generation talent and your feeling about a Guice are well known. So expand on your post.

Initial draft first rounders are worth substantially more than subsequent years.

If you get the #16 and #32 picks next year you would have given SB away for peanuts.

Where'd Mixon go?

I really don't think he's giving the value #4 in an initial draft is deserving of.
2.11 which is where he usually goes or close to it in standard leagues.

And late second rounder, a third rounder who is out for the season and two picks you are going to sit on for a year for the #4 in an initial draft.

I'd pass on this.

You'll get better offers as soon as AB has a 100 yard game imo.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Since we're talking dynasty, consider that Eli won't be there forever. So what happens to the offense once he's done and a rookie QB takes over?

Me personally I don't like to look that far into the future (even if it is 2 or 3 years away).

As for Mixon: not necessarily that high on him, but I'm sure he's a solid RB2. Seems like the Bengals trust him since he wasn't challenged in the draft or free agency. And who knows, Gurley, Gordon (LAC) and Freeman (ATL) had unimpressive rookie seasons and then exploded in their 2nd year. This is Mixon's 2nd.

Food for thought.

And I traded the rights to SB myself this spring.
You did trade Barkley, the only league I’ve seen Barkley traded in. Going to turn down that offer. I like getting opinions even if I end up not taking the advice. Helps clarify my own opinion. My trade partner is going to be very disappointed I think, since I told him I leaning to accepting.

He could always offer the deal again later.

The value he's giving you will only change if Mixon blows up like he's Bell or Gurley. 3/4's of his offer is in the cooler for an entire year. You have all the leverage on the deal imo.

It is food for thought Joe. One of the reasons I debated this offer with myself, That plus I got other rookie RBs that could bust out. So volume of RB2 types that could end up being RB1, but decided not to go that route.
