3yr -$6,000,000 sounds about right.Hagg signed his ELC at 19, so he needs 4 years of AHL/NHL experience to get arbitration rights, right now he's at 2. And he'll be able to be a UFA in 4 years (when he's 27).
I think.
So a 2 year contract gets him to arbitration rights, not really a big deal, and a 4 year deal gets him to UFA status. So I would say 2-3 year deal max so that he's still RFA at the end of it. I don't think either one makes a big difference, but I don't want to give him much more than 2M per. I like Hagg, but as a 5 or 6 dman, PK specialist type guy. Certainly needed, but not something to overpay for.
The sorta nice thing about Hagg is he's definitely a defensive first guy. Typically those guys come a little cheaper.
Sanheim is an RFA next year.
Moran is an RFA in 2021.
Myers and Frredman are RFA's in 2020.
$2 mill for a solid 4-5 for 3 years isn't bad. Reevaluate in 3 years.
