Well I wanted Tim Settle this round but looks like that ship might sail before our next. I am worried about our LB core. If we coud snatch Genard Avery that might save us.

Oops.

Not trying to be negative, but I'm not a fan of Hand. He's not that good. Not fast off the edge, not a high motor, and when he does get penetration, it's often against a tight end. There were better DE's on the board.

*Remember, Patricia brought Bama's DL coach here. That dude probably lobbied for him, too. Not sold.

Agreed. I am not sold either.

Passed on both Jaylyn Samuels and Tim Settle for another project type guy.

Think they will shift him to guard to compete with Glasgow?

Lions selected Oregon OT Tyrell Crosby with the No. 153 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.

Crosby (6’5/309) made 17 starts at left tackle and 19 at right tackle for the Ducks, rebounding from an injury-ruined junior year to earn the Morris Trophy as the Pac 12’s Offensive Lineman of the Year as a senior, allowing zero quarterback hits. Only a 28th-percentile SPARQ athlete but able to win with long arms (35") and drive-blocking power, Crosby offers upside as a right tackle or guard prospect.

Pretty sure Wiggins wont even make it to camp now. We drafted 2 O-lineman so far both better than him.

NFL.com lists Crosby as a Guard. I like that Quinn continues to create competition on the OL.

He definitely got more muscle up front in this draft.

I'm betting Glasgow plays center, and the two rookies play guard, although Crosby might be a year away from starting. But he'll certainly be used in short yardage.

I am feeling no anger. How refreshing. I would have proffered defense for sure, but anything to make the rin game improve is good for the team

He will back up Lang most likely.

Avery would have been a perfect fit for the hybrid defense. Too bad he didnt last.

He'll go the way of Ebron. Some team will pick him up as a 3rd down back.

Maybe we can get a 6th straight up for him. I will check back later but not getting my hopes up.
