Bandwagon Raiders fans are going to give obnoxious Pats fans a run for their money pretty soon as Brady inevitably gets older. It's going to be quite unpleasant to say the least.

Heck even non-bandwagon Raiders fans are crazy. I don't know how many Raiders fans I've talked to over the last 15 years that thought every single season they were Super Bowl contenders. Don't mind that they went 5-11 or worse for 5 straight years but now all of a sudden they are Super Bowl contenders. Don't mind that the owner traded away the entire draft for over the hill trouble makers. Now that they have a decent team yeah things could get ugly.

I was a trojans fan before a raiders fan.When they drafted Marcus Allen I became a Raiders fan.I never thought the Raiders were going to the super bowl every year.But I'm a realist.I did used to like Davis a lot.But you are correct he was awful toward the end.Putting Marcus Allen in the dog house and losing him to KC.Trading the future for washed up players at the end of their careers.A ton of bad coaching choices like the Kiffin disaster.Passing on guys like Aaron Rodgers who fell in their lap for a CB and a 40 time.Or Calvin Johnson for an over rated QB out of LSU.....

They have improved but I still can't say they are going to the super bowl.Its still early and they still have some holes to fill imo.All teams have their homers or band wagon fans.They are actually the ones who are annoying tbh.I agree the more success they have the worse its going to get.But the other thing i'm not looking forward to is the Vegas move. Which is also going to increase the amount of band wagon fans.Band wagon Raiders fans could get real bad imo

You guys are all (a little) wrong....

1. Philadelphia. Not New England. But only because I take a long view of this. You can't judge a fanbase by how they are right now and right now only, you have to look at the entire history. And Philadelphia has definitely accumulated the worst log. They are the pits, and have been, basically, forever.

2. San Francisco. The elite annoying snobbery that New England has done lately? Imagine that for decades, by a bunch of douchebags who don't even understand football. That's your basic 49er fan. Sure, they are more polite, but way more ignorant, only they don't even realize it or care about why that would matter. And this team also has the largest fraction of fair weather fans in the country.

3. New England. OK, they are gaining ground in a hurry, for sure. But have they overtaken Philly? Not. Just. Yet. And I actually have to sympathsize (coughing) with them a little bit, since, yes, I do think Roger totally screwed them in the Deflategate case.

4. Washington. Anyone who would root for anything in this city, regardless of what it is, is by definition obnoxious and nauseating. Non-football point? Maybe.....you decide.

5. New Orleans. It's been 10 years since Katrina,which was the 11th hurricane they've had in the last 150 years and so they should've taken the fucking hint. But anyway, enough time has passed to start stating the obvious. As people, Nola has the worst to offer. Violent, irrational, shady, manipulative, always trying to scam. It has the largest population of con artists in the world. I don't believe in God, but if I did, it would make a lot of sense (Katrina aiming for the Superdome). Go ahead and keep weeping with New Orleans everyone else, I won't be joining you. As the cab driver I got in hopefully the last time I ever see that wretched shithole told me, a cab driver from HAITI nonetheless, he said New Orleans was the least trustworthy and most dangerous place on the planet. They do happen to have delicious food. And, at least, they aren't Californians. So they get #5.

Yeah kind of forgot about the move to Vegas. That could be an interesting group of fans for sure. Appreciate you being a realistic fan of the Raiders. It has been hard for me to find any. I listen to a bunch of sports radio and they have had even people who write about the Raiders who call in that are supposedly professionals who spend the entire time yelling "Raiders to the Super Bowl Baby!" Or "JUST WIN BABY!" Like I said those are supposed to be the objective people who write on the Raiders. I know every fan base has them for sure. Plenty of Bronco fans. Heck saw one today talking about how D. Thomas is better than Jerry Rice. Just shake my head and hope others realize that isn't the majority of the fan base thinking such nonsense.

Now everyone from Chelsea to Cochituate to Chatham claims that they’ve been die-hards forever, that they were huge fans during the Grogan and Tony Eason eras, that they know who Dick MacPherson is, and remember when fans used to hold up signs saying “Missing with Sisson” for kicker Scott Sisson. They shed accusations of cheating as if they are old John Hannah jerseys, even though everyone everywhere knows that Belichick is one of those guys who will cheat even while they’re winning just because it makes him feel clever. And so the calls of “P-A-T, Pats, Pats, Pats” ring out everywhere, and people still head to the town next to the town with the jail outside of Boston to watch their squad cooly go about the “Patriots Way” of mechanically winning games and refusing to sign beloved veterans because they would like to get paid more for bleeding for this team forever. But everyone knows you dyed-in-the-wool Pats fans are really just Bruins fans in Brady’s clothing. And deep down, you know it too.

Whatever... The Patriots will be Mediocre before too long, but it kinda depends on Belichick and his replacement. With any luck, they'll be like Pittsburgh who has maintained a competitive team through several coaches
