I've been having fun looking back through all the drafts, so name your top 20 players from the 1995 Draft

Here is the page so you can look through them all:

1995 NHL Entry Draft Picks at hockeydb.com

That's my draft! Can I name only guys I played with/against? Gonna be a lot of "busts" on that list!

(technically not "my" draft since I'm a November birthday, but 1977 is my birth year)

Top 5 players probably ended up being something like Iggy, Doan, Redden, Savard, Kapanen. Kipper is the top goalie.

:L at the Oilers picking Steve Kelly (he of 9 NHL seasons but only 149 games) and the Habs picking Terry Ryan ahead of Iggy.

At least the Sharks could say that their guy was just picked before they took a pure bust.

He was awesome.

Ryan is currently playing Newfoundland Senior hockey with the Clarenville Caribous and recently completed a degree - a bachelor of Arts (Folklore/English).

He is set to release his first book, "Tales of a First Round Nothing" in May 2014.

I give him credit, the title made me laugh. It might be interesting.

You can get a degree in "Folklore"? Sounds like a future in politics maybe

Sykora was a stud. Glad he won the cup in Pitt since that hack Derrien Hatcher took him out of the final game of 2000 with the mother of all elbows.

The run he had with Geno in '08 was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Seriously, the Sykora-Malkin-Fedetenko line was sick the year before the Cup.

Loved Sykora. He was on a great line with the Devils too. The Elias-Arnott-Sykora line was awesome in the day. I saw him his 1st game up with the Devils (he scored a goal). Most of his rookie year he played center between Bill Guerin & Steve Thomas...also a pretty damn good line

They were indeed sick.

Nice skills, amazing hockey sense and off-the-charts chemistry. That was a joy to watch, even for a guy who now needs mouthwash to say P______rgh P____ins.

I still remember that three overtime(it was three, right?) goal in Detroit - made that series interesting

Terry Ryan is a beauty by the way. The excerpts I've read from his book are fantastic.
