In the spirit of what I think the OP is looking for (popular song), then I'll go with this...

The 70's is still by far & away my favorite decade for music...so it's no easy task in picking a favorite year, choosing a favorite artist or album of mine, let alone my favorite song....because for me personally there are literally just too too many. Wow...what a time that was.

Great song from a great album. Not a dog on it.

True dat. London Calling was the shizz nit and when it came out even Pete Townsend said that The Clash could go down as the best rock group ever (or something to that effect). Then they broke up.:gaah:

The 1976 Jailbreak album by Thin Lizzy is my all-time favorite. And this is my favorite song off that album. Enjoy.

I saw him say that in Rolling Stone.

I mean this sincerely...

When they hit V Town for the first concert Vancouver was buzzing with anticipation.

The Commodore Ballroom had this neat spongy floor that you could get bouncing. And it was.

One of my friends got too hammered and pinched some gal's bum and proceeded to get stomped severely by her boyfriend and his friends.
